I imagine it would start out just like this too, a contest over whose reputation is a truer, clearer definition of self. 

Hawke mentions the Deep Roads Expedition, Andy answers with “ARCHDEMON.”

Andy mentions going toe-to-toe with a talking, intelligent darkspawn, Hawke answers with “Funny, I think I killed one once.”

“Qunari.” “Alienage riots.”

“Vigil’s Keep.” “KIRKWALL.”

And on and on until one of them, finally out of bragging rights, says “hot elf boyfriend.” 

“Oh really, you too?”

And then it’s not about bragging anymore, but the idiotic things their respective idiotic lovers do.
