I saw that Guild Wars 2 was available for pre-order on Gamestop, so I rushed to my phone and called and asked when the shipment would come in and they said they were expecting it MAY 26! Is this real?! Are they lying to me? IS MY LIFE GOING TO END ON MAY 26!?

Guys, guys.. I know probably nobody is going to see this or take me seriously, but Gamestop in NOTORIOUS for doing this shit. It’s all BS! They have no release date, and they don’t know WTF they are talking about. They put the game out there and promise you “first pick” at a collector’s edition for being one of the first people to pre-order. Still, it’s BS. I know a few people who work/ have worked at Gamestop and all this pre-order stuff is just a list of games coming out. They want your money, and they want your pre-order so they put the game on the list and SELL SELL SELL you the pre-order.

Put it this way… can you pre-order the collector’s edition? NO, because they don’t even know if there IS a collector’s edition. DO NOT TAKE THIS STUFF SERIOUSLY!

I know everyone is frothing at the mouth for a release date for GW2, but this happens with ALL popular games coming out. Gamestop puts up some “guestimation” of when it is going to be released based ON BS AND ASSUMPTION. Plus, you WILL NOT have the first pick of collection edition pre-orders, because Pro-tip: they don’t keep track of who pre-ordered first, and they don’t CARE. Honestly, you are better off waiting for OFFICIAL NEWS from ArenaNet. The people at Gamestop don’t know anything special or secret that you don’t.

Yeah I know.. it’s Sten week or something. I just… I couldn’t help it. I HAD to draw a Fenris. I was so inspired after watching those ryuuka-nagare vids that my muse wouldn’t let it go.

This is as close to a speed painting as I get though, LOL. I am not very happy with it, but meh.. here it is!

Gwenya Hawke

Because I totally missed the bandwagon and didn’t post any pictures of my canon Hawke when everyone else was doing it.

Also, bonus Fenris, because he is ALWAYS my right hand man(elf?) in my canon playthrough. I didn’t even plan it that way. He was just always there. <3

Gwenya is a sarcastic/aggressive. More sarcastic than anything. She is a hardened, but caring soul, and ends up supporting the mages. She befriended everyone (Yeah even Friendmanced Fenris), and in the end truly cares about her family, her friends, and her LI most of all. I even had her friend Carver, and Warden him of course. She is strong, and free with her magic, but also a bit scared of it and what it can do. Though she hates admitting that to herself and only Fenris really brings that revelation to her. Oh, volumes I could write on Gwenya. I don’t know why but everything fell together like a perfect puzzle when I played her. Plus, that whole purple/black hair thing. I love her.

Morrigan Contribution

For Morrigan Week!! Also because she is one of my favorite characters. I remember taking her along everwhere on my Cousland Dragon Age PT and laughing at how she said the EXACT SAME THINGS I was thinking. It was.. disturbing sometimes how I would think something, and she would say it, LOL.

Love or hate Morrigan she is a beautiful character and her struggle with freedom (omg recurrent theme much?) from Flemeth and her strength of character and will have always made me treasure her. Witch Hunt was a total disappointment, and I always wonder what happened to my favorite witch. I loved having Morrigan as a friend. The emotion she shows when she tells you about her mirror, and the utter shock at actually receiving gifts. I just loved her whole outlook. Her strength. Her independence, and her willingness to face even Flemeth alone. Of all the DA companions she has the hardest struggle. Having to overcome a lifetime of memories and not knowing if the most powerful being to date is your enemy or your mother. Plus, god baby…

I totally did the ritual too… MUAHAHAHA.
